So... Amidst the waiting for my custom wood stand to be built for my 75 gallon I've been thinking...

I've had the F2 Carpintis "Vontehillo" that's in my 55 gallon since the beginning of July 2011 (about 6 months give or take), and he hasn't grown at ALL since. I've done weekly 50% WCs, changed feeding schedule, varied diet (NLS, Hikari, Crickets, Worms, etc), with no change. My thoughts are to donate him to my LFS and do a red oscar in the 75. Been thinking about this for a while and feel bad doing it, but I really enjoy watching the growth process, and there hasn't been any to speak of with this guy :(:(

Thoughts on the trade? What would you put in the 75?

Here's what's going in the 75 as of now...

6 Tiger Barbs
1 Orange seam pleco

I currently have a 75g cycling and plan to grow out some juvie red tiger motas and keep the best pair.

I'd do african cichlids

One day I'd like to do a 75 with africans (a malawi mix of some sort), but I already bought a piece of driftwood for the tank with the hope of it being CA/SA :banhim:

Here's the tank

Love that piece of driftwood

thats way tooooooooo much to spend on driftwood. You can go down to the river and find nicer peices. But right now in my 75 i have a pair of grammodes cichlids and it will be their home for a while. For a 75 you can do alot of different things like, midas, red isletas pair, most of the parachromis species, some vejas, cubans, and if you like africans you could do buttikoferi cichlid, or a pair of paratilapia pollini which im gonna try in the future.

i would like to go with buttikoferi cichlid or a pair of paratilapia pollini.
