75 gallon planted tank journal.

I’ve found arrowheads a little bit of a toss up. I’ve had one die, yet I have another one that’s been in my tank for coming up on a year now that’s still going. Hasn’t grown much, but has been moved 4 or 5 times so maybe that’s why?

I rather like arrowheads I find, they look nice so I’ll keep them again in the future.

your question about hob with plants....I use pothos in my hob they root in some open cell foam I put in and are growing very well. I plan on doing a similar version to your pothos tub in a 20 long that houses my axolotls. might add some bamboo seeing yours.

But perhaps I could propagate them after they reach that size and have more to spread to other tanks.

What are worm castings? Also I don’t think feeding them would work unless I used a liquid fert but I don’t think it’s necessary since I have a heavy stock. I told you the stock of my 75 gallon once in pm’s.

Sounds great, let me know if you end up doing the bamboo :).

Worm poo, it availible in the garden section, it can also be used as substrate for planted tanks

I haven't used castings in my tank. that's an interesting idea. I have a 5 gallon bucket worm farm already to feed my fish worms from. maybe its time to try a planted tank again????
