75 Gallon South American Setup; Stock Advice

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great call, man about 1M, 3F---will ask him for this. Other general question about Geo's; I have Pool Filter Sand and I'm hearing that because they constantly kick up sand this can stress a cannister filter? Every time I siphon it seems that the sand rarely comes up and falls back down. Is this a major concern?

I use PFS in all my tanks. Sometimes in gets in the canisters. But it's usually not a problem and you want your geos to have sand. You are fine!

Hey guys--still cycling the tank; Haven't added anything else yet. I came up with two completely different scenarios:
1) 3-4 (Red Head Tapajos) + 6 Blue rams + 1 Green Phantom Pleco
or
2) 1 male + 1 female Green Terror

The Green Terrors are beautiful but I can't think of any other fish to put them in with that won't be slaughtered in a 75 gallon
.
Any thoughts on this? My gut is to go with option #1 (community tank)
