get a jag cuz they will be a great show piece
Not for life in a 75. It will be a very cramped showpiece. Jags grow fairly large. They require a bigger tank long-term. Stick with the GT.

great lookin fish, uh oh GT and Tiger are tied for 9 votes a piece haha

yeah on the hi fins i knew they'd mess up other plecos and bichirs but i figured they wouldnt be able to hurt a large cichlid, im really feeling the green terror i think that's what im going to go with :) thanks everybody
It's very uncommon for them to attack fish with cycloid scales. And I actually own one that has been kept with a senegal bichir for over a year with no problems. ;)

^^ very nice, i can't wait to get my room reorganized to put water in it and start the cycling process, got a new desk today also on clearance from best buy, usually $180 bucks got it for $35 ;) they don't even have them listed with a price only reason i knew about it 2 of my roommates work there xD

Tiger oscars are gorgeous on a black background and black sand/gravel. Plus there personality is awsome.

as close as the GT vs. Tiger battle is honestly it will probably depend on the specimens available when my tank is cycled and if any of them particularly stick out to me

Go with an oscar! My 75 gallon oscar.

i am notorious for bashing Oscars, but my friend you have one nice looking Oscar!:headbang2

i would go green terror if i picked from your list.... maybe you can try to get a hold of more rare species and keep something nobody else has.... for instance i just got a spot faced pike... although they get huge and are not for a 75 gallon.... none of the LFS around here had even heard of them... had to order overnight shipping from west coast...

if the source is good, don't be afraid of ordering online!! i now feel it's the only way to go!!
