75 going on 180

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I did almost the same thing on my 75. But I used clear epoxy after I painted the cement. Lost a lot of detail that I painted on. Epoxy just made it look brown.
I'm going to use should say need to use krylon so it's gonna test my spray paint skills.

Watched a few you tube videos on making 3d backgrounds. I also used to do a lot of model building and painting, used to play a game called Warhammer it uses miniatures that you paint and put together and you can make terrain to make the game harder and more interesting. Used to have craft night in my buddies basement or my house and we'd be up til 4-5am playing or building 3-4 nights a week. So foam carving and painting ive done for years just had to up size the project a bit and make it fish safe.

Nice upper jaws.

yay Moke! :) Have you noticed any intense greens on it with the white sand?
on his pectoral fins. I wouldn't say its because of the white sand though. I'm gonna mix white and black in the 180. I'm not sure what ratio I will use yet though. I've been messing around with it probably going to be 50/50 b/w or 75/25 b/w. I really wanted to add some garnet but no one has it out here. Barton will ship me a pallet of it, but who needs a pallet?

I hear ya on not needing a pallet lol.

Ironically, I've seen people playing Warhammer before. But it looked really complicated with all the figurines and measuring tape. Had no idea what was going on hahaha. That's cool that people make their own figures though!

Yeah people make their own figures but mostly make the terrain "board" the game is played on. Carving foam into hills, walls, making trees, buildings, fences. I had an undead army I built a mausoleum for, piles of bones, tall columns, rows of sarcophagi it was super cool but no one wanted to play me on that board after the first time.......;)
