Yeah "mine" are more green the noodles are more golden. Although may be a color change as they get older, my biggest one is getting more gold like the noodles.

I'm not sure... I'll have to go back and look at pics. I feel like they were more green initially...
I don't think so. I've never seen a "washed out" rope. I'm thinking more of a adult vs juvenile coloring. We will see when

I had a washed out rope fish on my sand. Don’t have it anymore but compared to the others it was way lighter. Posted about it a while ago and was thought due to sand.
I don' think any of mine are washed out. The ones I got from
magpie
are gold in color. The ones I got from my lfs are green on top with gold bellies. Magpies are 2 x the size of mine and are older. A couple of my bigger ones are starting to become more gold in color. There is only a slight difference in color between the belly and the back on magpies.Here's a video of them in February. I got them all at around 9" or so in December of last year.
Ok so before they came to me were they pretty much the same gold color all over or still the olive color on top? If they've changed maybe substrate related.
