Some not so great shots. Tank needs cleaned and lots of light coming through window. But everyone was super active.

YAY MOKE PICS! Also I can't even deal with the amount of cuteness that your ropefish/noodles display.

P.S. pea puffers are fun. I finally saw a video of someone with 3 mbu puffers and a del-and perhaps some other bichirs- so my hope in keeping them together is rekindled. hahaha
what an amazing tank!!!!!! I just joined yesterday and I spent the last hour, maybe 2, going through the thread. I'm at a loss of words to describe your background! I'm jealous of your dels, that's what I wanted, but no store has them around me. thanks for taking the time to share all of this. it's truly inspiring to see this for me just starting to get into these fish and back into the hobby.
+1 His background is a masterpiece in itself. Tank goals indeed. :)

When that cats away. I used to have a huge saltwater setup somewhere around 2000g. Id buy peoples setups that were getting out and keep what I wanted and sell or trade the rest. My wife went to a CE one time in Chicago and was gone for the weekend she came home I had two 300g acrylic tanks in the basement, she lost it. I wasnt planning on keeping both but that was the deal. I ended up selling both of them after I cleaned them up. Thats why this is the biggest single tank ive had set up.
it was flip this tank. If anything you were just trying to turn a buck. I can't imagine what the maintanence would be like on a 300, let alone a 2000g salt water tank. It takes me an hour to scrub all the algae and do a 75%WC on the 55g. lol. How did you do it?

would love to see some pics of your saltwater setup.

2011-02-13 18.34.34.jpg 2011-02-23 17.44.47.jpg Ive got a hard drive that was set up on my computer before it went postal. I'm kinda afraid of it though so I need to get it "tested" before I hook it to my computer. Might be the only place photos still exist aside from photobucket and I'm not paying for access. The two pics above are from my 125 reef. I dont have any of my 120 which I did have a couple but for some reason didnt get imported from my old phone. Those two pics I dug out of my google acct. The sd card should have a few of the 120, 125, 100 fuge and at least 1 of my sharks. I'll have to pull it and put it in my computer to see if they are still there.

Someone had 3 mbus and bichirs all together? That must have been a ginormous tank!
Thats actually scary. 1 chomp from the mbu and its done for poly even if its an accident. I love puffers so much but I don't think they'll be going in with my polys. I had a dogfaced in one of the Rubbermaid ponds I had (not coral safe) apparently not angel safe either. Angel was fine in the morning when I came home dead and had huge bites out if it. It was a large Queen angel didnt think that would happen. Puffer went in with sharks and attacked one of them too so he found a new home. Not to be trusted!
