75 standard vs long

Interested in what would be better for keeping a flowerhorn, a standard 75 or 75 long. The long is 72 x 18 x 13. Where as the standard is 48 x 18 x 24. Essentially is depth or length more important to them?

13" depth severely limits the fish you can put in there, if you want any fish 6" or greater go with the standard, a 13" depth imo permits small fish, nothing big.

15-16" tall Tank minimum for Flowerhorn IMO

If you were gonna do a single flowerhorn specimen he'd be happy in the standard 75g with the wider/higher footprint.
 
i think a 75 is too small for a flowerhorn.
