The stands interior is now painted. Tomorrow after work i'll place the wet dry under there and start on the plumbing.
There is a slight problem with thw tank not being level from front to back. It looks to be a 1/2" difference. I was thinking about going to Home Depot and getting a 1/2" molding and find the widest one and place the molding under the bottom plywood where the 4x4's are making contact.
another idea just to have 2 ideas, lol
rip some 2x4 1/2" to nothing, long as the width of the tank.
4,one under each 4x4.
plus 4 more for the centers for the heck of it??lol
use some wood and a jack or more dudes and slide them in.lol
this way the whole bottom is braced.
just an idea.
your idea might leave the back like this < lol,at an angle,or just sitting on the edge.get me?lol
and then everything in the middle will be floating.
then if w/d is under there, and theres only plywood under it?
might not be good.
If you think about it, only the 4x4 are seeing load. The plywood is just there for the stand to have a bottom. Thats why I thought that a strip along the whole front would work.
worse as in joke about your idea.lol
and maybe dont have to worry about tank weight but what about the filter.
it would be sitting on the floating plywood.
im sure it would be fine your way tho.
using styrofoam right?
just was saying my idea cus everywhere would have support.
i over do everything.lol
