LOl the blinds I bought are being custom made haha I like to go baller status on everything for a 26 year old. The home theater in the living room is over $10k so far LOL and that rustic couch was 5 figures as well LOL
 
It's only money...if you don't spend it, you'll end up paying taxes and bills..

My ol lady doesn't think so, unfortunately :) but I bought my 600 anyway hahahahaha LMAOL.

I bought a 61" DLP for the living room and she was happy :)

She can watch her show on big TV and I can have my tank.

As far as the stand, I'd do this..

Put 2x4 or 4x4 or 2x6 along the length of the tank spaced out at 1' from each other.
Do this on the bottom side (floor) and on top as well.

The diagonal bracing are very well thought of.

Put AT LEAST 3/4 " plywood on the back and sides. For the front, Cut out opening and skin the whole front section with plywood.

The plywood will prevent the vertical support from shifting and bowing.

as I looked at the stand I would add in 2 vertical 4 x 4 braces in the 2 centers just beside the angel braces

very nice looking set up now to read the rest of the thread lol
