75g Filter question

i had an xp3 on my 75g and hated it. i dont feel like it was near enough filtration. slow flow even with the powerjet and no filter floss. GOOD filter, but slow as molasses, good for bio...

What's done is done, and hey who knows...I may upgrade in the future as my fish get bigger and stock hearty. At least now I know what to aim for!

My tap water is around a 7.0/7.5 pH. Would adding some CC in the filter actually help boost the pH? I heard the results are minimal, if anything.

CC in the filters will raise your ph more than cc as substrate will. It also depends on aeration and the gh/kh of your water.
