lol LMB don't like roommates. they usually eat them and if you want a full grown lmb, you'll need a tank much bigger than 240g. i've seen a few 7 pounders in 300g that made the tank look tiny because they were so fat.

love the look of the tank tho! he looks happy and healthy
actually that is not entirely true. the recommended minimum for the life of a bass is 125, which everyone knows is too small. id say at least 200g minimum, so hes gonna be fine in that tank...and happy!

Yes a 7lb bass would be pushin it in a 250ish tank, but not many people are going to manage to keep one that long...not all bass in nature get that large, and not all Bass in aquaria will either.
I'm not saying it can't happen, but I am saying that you would probably be safe waiting to cross that bridge when you come to it, if you even get that far.

Nice, Looks like he's right at home there, you need a couple of sunnies and some kind of cat to finish that look off

I plan on a few small bluegill or crappie and maybe a small bull head cat once I get the 240G I have been looking for. He still has plenty of room to grow in this tank so I am in no hurry, just waiting for that great deal now.

Crappie can easily be bullied by your bass so get your bass some larger sunfish species such as rock bass, pumpkinseed, green sunfish, bluegills, redears or warmouth.

Just done a H2O change and some rearrangement so I thought I would put out an updated pic. You can see the snails in this pic much better too.
