Is their a calculator that can tell me how thick of plywood i need? its 10ft long 4ft wide 30inches tall. id like to go 36 but isnt 30inch the limit for half inch glass?.

i was told sweetwater needs to be 60ils thick is that true? im pretty sure i want to use a liner.

Going with dimensions that large, you'll want to use external bracing (2x4's or 2x6's) around the tank, which makes the thickness of the plywood kind of a moot point. I would still use 3/4" hardwood plywood, simply because it provides a very strong, stiff surface to apply the epoxy to.

If you can afford it, I'd go with the epoxy. It may be more difficult to apply, but I think it will be stronger, less leak prone, and look better than using a liner.

or you could try something like liquid rubber or pond armor.
