760 gallon Plywood tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I used the sweetwater. It is a dream to work with. I put it on at 5 coats 4mil each coat. Holding water like nobodys business. Silicone sticks to it with little prep, just a light sanding to rough it up, and there are place I did not roughing and the silicone sticks very well. Also suction cups stick to it.

Good luck

PS... Love all the colors it comes in too..

If you are looking to go with a black coating, you could try a paint on rubber coating called Wetsuit. It is $125 for a 5 gallon pail (should do your tank with a thick coat no problem). It is similar to liquid rubber (as far as application) but is far better as far as I am concerned when it comes to durability and waterproofing. It has been used in outdoor ponds (spay form prayed directly over the packed dirt) with good results. Silicone sticks to it good as well. It is easy to work with and practically no fumes.

what kind of snare? I like dynasty and pearl championships.

weve got crappy ludwigs. theyre old and warped. the lugs fall off while marching. its horrible. are you in a drumline?

I used a little more than 1 gallon. It's coverage is apx 220 sq feet per gallon at 4 mils. I would not short change the epoxy as that it is the only thing keeping water off your floors, Go with 5 coats. A little extra epoxy = a lot extra sleep ;)
