There was a Rasbora Tornieri in the shop that I bought mine at that was easily 8" long. It's going to be a close call with them. This pic I found of one looks to be around 6" so at 8" they "might" be ok if my Oscar doesn't grow into a giant.

Wowzer...that tank is stunning!!!!
Very nice monster tank bro!
Alex, sorry if I missed this earlier in the thread but did you ever find a way to do the Herbie drain setup? I saw your thread from last year on another forum. I have the same overflow setup (one bulkhead per box) in my 340 and I've been running Dursos. No seems to have an exact answer on this one.
Alex, thanks for the info. The dursos are ok but the tank is in my dining room. It's basically the only place we actually sit down and there's no tv or noise. I'm also trying to cut back on splashing, etc to limit CO2 loss. The tank's planted and I'm injecting CO2. The fewer times I have to hoist that 20# CO2 tank out of the basement the better!
A while back you mentioned going from an external to a submerged return pump. I'm thinking about doing the opposite. I'm wondering if that will lower my water temperature. I have about 400 gallons, including the sump. I have a Jaeger 300 watt in the main tank and a Hydor inline 250 watt on an Eheim I use to polish the sump. I don't really ever see either of them on. I do have about 650 watts of compact flourescents and a Mag 18 in the sump. We keep the house around 70* this time of year. The tank temp is always around 80*. The heaters are set at 78*. I imagine the lights are helping too but they're on only 8 hours a day and there's not a huge temp swing when they're off. If I swap out the Mag 18 for a Reeflo Blowhole 2700 are my heaters going to run nonstop?
