I tried to send you a PM, but I think the reason I can't is because you don't yet have 5 posts.

I think I speak for everyone on here when I say, please post some pix. We love to see pictures of big setups.

Starting your own build thread would be even better!

Welcome to the forum!
Or I will do it now....haha

It's been a few months since I've posted an updated video. Nothing has really changed; pretty much the same stock for 2+ years.

Although they've all grown some, the Widebars have really blown up...they are getting huge.

Looking good, I'm surprised the flagtail isn't bigger by now?

Thanks man. No plecos for now. The flagtail does a great job on brown algae, but he doesn't seem to touch green algae (as you can see in the video). You think plecos will take care of that stubborn green algae on the back wall? It's a nightmare to get off; it takes forever to scrub.

Yeah those wide bars are really looking good. Very clean set up. I love it :)
Thanks Egon. Any updates on the big garage build? From what I'm seeing in the news, you could have filled it for free, with that downpour/flooding you guys got.

Beautiful tank,I love the minimalist look to the decor.
Thanks KRich- I added a few more ABS fittings for the clown loaches to hide in. I like decor, but not so much that it makes maintenance a total PITA.

Thanks David. This is the first Flagtail I've kept, so I'm not familiar with their normal growth rates. He doesn't really eat that much in the way of pellets; he prefers to munch on algae. I know he's eating well though because he is constantly crapping up a storm.

Very nice looking. Everything has filled in nicely.

Thanks Kevin.

To be honest, now that they are all almost fully grown I'm thinking it looks a little too crowded.

Wow beautiful. I wonder what a tank like that costs

More than I'm willing to admit. If you really want to know I can send you a PM.

I think there might be a couple of different species, one grows to about 8-9" and the other to 14"+.
