So today I hooked up a 55watt uv steriliser as my old tank had one and the water was crystal clear. I've also sacked the water butts as they just wouldn't seal to the bulkheads - the plastic was too thin to handle the pressure. So now I have a 3x2x2 tank holding the k1 and heaters with a thick filter pad in and then that goes to 2 filter socks and then my sump. Which I've just added 8kg of ceramic rings to, to start building up my media seeing as my orbignyi Ray is likely to be preggo.
