He should probably give that 800 gallon tank to somebody who appreciates fish, then. Why in the world would someone who isn't into the cool fish set up an 800 gallon tank?! That would be like me building a modernized and well-equipped ten car garage and filling it with...Ford Pintos and Dodge trucks. Waste of space. Makes me sad and a little angry to hear about it, actually. Here I am doing everything in my power to maintain an interesting collection on pennies and scraps and there's a baller out there who wants an 800 gallon tank full of worthless fish. Maybe you should steer him toward plastic fish and remote-controlled submarines instead.

When I saw the original post, this is exactly what I was thinking.

with a tank that size ill make it an amazon biotope. 50 or so nice angels. 50 or so nice wild discus. lots of big school of tetra's. seeing them school is nice. i would add geos too. and a few other big medium size fish of your liking but i recommend something peaceful and not agressive and gets along with the other fish. i would add white sand. lots of big/branchy woods. plants like jungle vals and swords, floating plants. basically try to mimic the amazon river. it would be like a mini eco sytem and fish would breed and stuff. make it look nice and not the typical bare bottom tanks. but thats just me. some would prolly say its a waiste of space and should put large fish. but to each of there own.

800 gallons! You already know your choices are endless. Don't tease us.

he has a 15 car garage wit muscle cars, classics and sports cars....cars are really his passion tthis is why i feel like he thinks that ugly is bad, ugly car is worth less than nice one? if you get what im saying. but in all seriousness in reality im the one who is going to be taking over te tank and feeding and maintenance every day. so at the end when we are deciding what to put in it would be my choice of fish. and im 100% with the arrows rays clown knifes and all off what you are saying. i was just created this thread to ask for any ideas? i get so overwhelmed with all the fish that i would want to put in the tank that i would need helping narrowing it down to create a creative and beautiful llooking stock.

I would do a nice African themed tank..:headbang2

1-2 colonies of fronts, yellow labs, Cyprichromis leptosoma, Tropheus duboisi .
