Isnt a piece of 1" lami, 2 pieces of 7/16" glass and a 1/8" sheet of plastic in the middle? I know our 1/2" lami at work is 2 pieces of 3/16 glass and a sheet of 1/8" plastic.

well did some looking around for more info and pricing and was put in touch with a friend of a friend who is a glazer he said that the lami does have a 1/8 piece of plastic in between. he also said that silicone reacts poorly with the plastic and could cause it to delaminate so now I have to decide wheather I still want to go with tempered single or standard float glass

finally got a weekend i could work and was able to finish up the majority of the framing and got all of the interior walls sheeted trying to upload pics right now but I'm on someone else's pc and it is not working so i will keep trying if not will get them up tomorrow

Man that looks sweet! I really like your built in filter, its gives the whole set up a nice clean look. Im guessing you're gonna remove that brace from the window?

thanks you. and yes the brace is only temporary. now I need to pick up some 2x8s to finish the top gets some bondo to fill all the seems and fillet the corners. I am going to try and get some west system epoxy and fiberglass cloth ordered today and hope it will be warm enough this weekend to get a start on the laminating.
