Multiple different tanks. A 360 gallon 96x36x24 tall a 270 gallon 84x30x24 tall. A 240 gallon 4x4x2 and a standard 180 gallon.Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of the tank that these offcuts came from? I assume it's at least 2.13m long.

This is what I was leaning towards from the beginning. The fx6 does not push near enough water. Most wavemakers are out simply due to 3/4” material. That leaves me with tunze, maxspect gyre, apex WAV or mp40/60s. Not looking to spend the money on any of those listed and suction cup wavemakers are automatically out so likely going with a Jebao MLW30 attached with neodymium magnets as opposed to the stock ones.I agree.
With the shallow depth, its width, and length, I would think this would be a great rheophillic tank, for smal lcolorful darters, and sunfish, and madtoms for catfish.
Depending on the power of the can, I would add a powerhead (wave maker pump) to get a more realistic linear flow along its total length.
I like to see plants bend and react to current.
My vals do just fine in a strong flow.

Of course here in Panama the rheophillic species are goby's some cichlids, and others
Whole tank is 3/4” thick. This with respect to wavemakers? Is the Euro-bracing also 3/4-inch thick? If not, maybe you could clamp to it. Or, if it is, maybe you could glue on some kind of flange or 90-degree angle piece to the bottom of the bracing, or to the end piece of the tank, and clamp to that?
I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing happen!![]()

local guyLooks like a very nice selection of plants you put it. May I ask where you ordered them from?
