I worked 3 blocks away from the trade center. I remember walking out of the train station staring at the hole in the building. Then the second plane hit. They evacuated us up the west side hwy...first time in my life i ever ran from anything. That day utterly changed me. From this point on i lost a little respect for myself, i ran away while others ran towards it. What a horrible feeling for someone that thought they were invincible,,, real tough guy bar room brawls were fun for me. But that day i was a coward.

Smelled the rotting flesh for weeks in downtown Manhatten. Scary how many people actually did forget that happened

I was on a roof, folks not forget, just put it behind and get on with life. To do otherwise compounds the act. And the act was bad enough with out letting such a thing influence my life.

3 days later I was at the hospital watching my youngest boy be born.

Didnt mean it like that pops (awesome your son was born three days later) i mean i look at the news and you see people complaining about xray machines or searches that are too intense. Or the lack of security and im like geez did they forget what happened.

folks going to gripe no matter what you do, and no matter what happened. to many searches, to little searches. look what I got through screening, that sky marshal got prostitutes while over seas. my dog got cold while in the holding, I got kicked off the plane because I wanted my dog with me. and bla bla bla.

most of it is media propaganda , click bait and teasers. how many stadiums been blown up sense? how many more planes have ran into tall buildings sense?

always going to be the nuts, Boston tell you that but to think nothing being done or has been forgotten is a mistake.

I'm with pops with his line of thinking. All this remember it stuff and making it a big deal is giving the terrorists more credit, power, recognition. I'd rather move on. It's not like I'll ever forget it

I stop and remember December 7th every year too. We should have a remembrance day, It doesn't empower our enemies it enforces our resolve to defeat them and make sure it never happens again. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it".
