How was this a derailing reply? this is about arkmann's feelings on 9/11 which, suprisingly enough, is what this thread is about. So Arkmann is not as worried about it as N-E-Cichlids, so what? this is a thread on thoughts not America's moral standing.

Funny how you only quoted a portion of his comment. Let me quote the rest.

What does that have to do with 9/11. Had he stated just the second portion, he would have been right on track.

He derailed a small bit bro, I think you took it a tad out of context. Concerning his paper that's what today(9-11/per the title of this thread) means to him. Cut him some slack..

I spent a little while today just thinking about where I was and what I felt that day six years ago. The tragedy of that day hit me hard for many reasons. It consumed my evenings by compelling me to watch the news and to become aware of the rest of the world... not just the one in front of my eyes. I changed my direction in college because of it, and nearly joined the marines. I am not in mourning today, just in remembrance. I am sorry to hear the bickering on this thread. The nature of this type of thread is not directed at literally expelling your thoughts about what you have to do today. This is not a laundry list. If today means nothing to you as a memorial day, keep your mouth shut and move on to the next thread. You will not be received well if you say you don't care about today, no matter what words you use to express it. I know that many many people will agree.

Easy for you to say you weren't attacked. Why is there always someone out to derail a thread especially one so sensitive to americans. Just shows the Moorons in the world.

I am not a fan of the politics in this country, but I love this great country and would give my life for it. The first thing that comes to most americans minds are the WTC and the Pentagon, but lets not forget the passengers of Flight 93 that stood up to those Bastards.

Oh Yeah Einstein if you quit surfing the forum and posting derailing comments you may finish your paper.

I felt the same way about his comment, then the second half sums up his point. The whole situation is an asterisk (*) He feels like moving on and showing the "bad guys" they have not phased him ESPECIALLY not 6 years later! (I still mourn on more than just the 11 of sept for the record.....)



N-E has only proved he is a proud American in this thread,(I blew up on a pro Islam bin ladin thread the other day) again just for the record....

I am social studies teacher, so every year this time I make a point to talk about what happened. Too many people blow off the event, because they do not feel connected. I am angry that so many people use this day for politics...

If you saw what kids think about the day you would preach the importance of this day... The students do not even want to say the pledge... It is time that people show the importance of this country... teach your children about this day, the importance...

I do not agree.....We can feel how we want (Americans any how), when we want, about whatever we want. If you feel nothing feel free to say that, If you are angry, do the same. (only black and white in stone rules apply "UN written" ones however do not.....)


Please don't take away our freedom of expression as you are not qualified to do so....
