Thanks guys. Ya he's my lil dude I don't think I'm ever getting rid of him. I've never had a fish get this big this fast. He must just have good genes to be honest his diet is average and my w/c schedule is like once every two weeks. Must of just got lucky. It's funny how green terror are like one of the most common cichlid but so awesome to own and beautiful
2 inch to 9 inch in a year is extremely fast. Mine don't get that size for at least 3 years, which is about the max a male (10 inch) can get. He is a young fish with good color and need more growth on the hump. Keeping GT solo may not be the best. He needs competition from another female or males to induce more hump growth.
You sure that GT doesn't have a DeLorean or something?? 7" in 11 months did u say??
