update.
I have all the media now, Japanese blue matting, 50kg of 'lytag', Kaldness ( thanx Alan) filter wool. just gotta buy the pump and some egg crate next week.
tonight i finished removing the original baffles in the filter (the PVC flexed too much under the pressure and broke the sealant) now have 6mm plate glass baffles installed, gotta wait for the sealant to cure
we're away for a weekend before the baby gets here so it'll give the sealant time to cure fully. will post some pics sunday/monday.
Danios doing fine, also added a 10" banded Leporinus (couldn't resist, always liked this sp.)
when i get back i have the filter to set up and then get the U.V. and pump installed.

glass baffles all cured nicely now, got a few additional bits to seal into the filter chambers then set it up with this lovely lot................
well im having one built on site on the 19th not going to be a high 1 but im having it for my rays it will be 120" x 48" x 28" approx. Im also looking at pumps. i think im going to use kaldness also ... ive read about those pumps tooo
