  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo

If ya get the filters now and start running them on your 30 gallon they will become cycled in a month or so. when you set up your 90G move the filters and your tank will be ready alot sooner.

you might also look into a used aquarium can get one for about half the price, check out craigslist.org

Thought about craigs list and Aquabid, but shipping a big tank worries me. Is the packing method that reliable for shipment. I'd hate to get a broken or cracked tank

You guys/Gals ROCK! Just checked out Craigs list and found a 90 with a stand for 200$. Calling on it this afternoon. It was used as a marine set up but I should be ok with a good wash job right?

THANKS Bderick67!!

Water changes... Python or no Python? We all know the bucket brigade is a pain

I have a window 6 feet from my new 90 gallon. Should I get a Python cleaning system and siphon out the window then fill her up from the tap? Never used one but they look like they'll make my life a lot easier.

I can post a new thread in another more appropriate forum if necessary but though I'd trynit here first. Let me know if I should move it. Thanks!!

I would definitely get a python. I do two waterchanges a week on all four of my tanks (125, 55, 30, 10). It would take me all night without a python. Definitely the best 30 bucks I've spent in a while.

:iagree:

Def go with a Python! I have 2, 1 upstairs with a shorty tube for my 45 & 10, and a large tube with a additional extension for my 125 and 20L. I would kill myself doing waterchanges without it! Although, I would like to be around, if, you go with the hose out the windows......

It would really be a kick in the balls to be under YOUR window!

:nutkick:

actually I have a Rhododendron under the window and she'll LOVE it?

Kinda like a hillbilly water change huh? Out da winder!
