Get your hand's on some Orino's if you can. If your LFS is saying they don't do sp name then look to the vendors like your doing. Here a couple that have some good stock..

Some sp are not in season but keep checking the vendors eventually you will find those harder to find sp.

I'll pm you. And oh yea you will be spending some nice cash to get some quality Cichla stock. I say $900.00 easy on a good stock of good looking Cichla with a stock of 12 or more.

Alot of people hate aqurium matience, i enjoy it. so even if i had to backwash daily it wouldnt bother me.

I was just seein how you would react ..I love the maitenance myself and filtration aspect actually all of it LOL!!!!Just ossasionally it gets a little hectic but oh well ...

oh i dont know if i said it already but your 675 is gorgous.

my 900 wont be completed till summer, when i can get more hours. i just glass and thats about it.

It's still a beautiful tank build. I just read through the whole thread. Can't wait to see it up and going. My favorite part is when you said "I had to piss like a russian race horse" I thought I was the only one who still say's that. LOL

$900 easy! If i had $900 now w/ 0 cichla id get...3 bahia's @ 575 for the 3...plus a few orino's. After shipping that'd be close to $900.....Id just get 4 bahia to make it 9. Nice cichla arent cheap....hekk, nice rare fish in general arent cheap. Generally, you get what you pay for...but not always.

wait a bit and bahia's will go down in price. Like my filtration stock i will not go cheap on them. if you plan on having them for the life of the fish you dont mind paying top dollar.
