This is my thoughts exactly. Looking at the condition of the barb, it's been shed a LONG time ago and was in there awhile. Could have been a slight movement that forced it out. I've seen similar things happen (twice with barbs and once with a hook). I'd bet she'll be just fine.

She's doing greatthis morning...actually for the last couple days she has been more active than I can remember...who knows how long that has been in there bothering the heck out of her..she probably feels like she's been set free...
On a sadder note...one of my Leo males up and died in the night. Water is perfect 0/0/5...this guy was always a bit weaker than the rest. I really want to know why... He was WC so I worry about a hook...or maybe parasites that slipped through the treatment/QT...

She's still doing better than she has in along time...she never skipped a meal, but I thought she was a big fat lazy pig...now she's a big fat active pig...lol....I think I may see some growth in her rump area, but this girl is already super-thick. It'll be a whiole before I can say she is pregnant for sure, but I know based on what I saw from her underside that someone got to her.

Good luck Mike...... That girl is a beast. That's all there is to it. She's so friggin thick I thought she had to be preggo for the last year I had her. The Marble I had that gave birth to 6 pups wasn't much bigger then she was without being preggo. I never had a manly enough ray to get the job done. Everyone always says how thick thier rays are, I've only seen a couple with the sheer mass that thing's got, one being my monster Marble, and she is 20+" and likely carrying. Seems Marbles her diameter are only half as thick.
Really glad she's doing better!!! Makes me wonder how long that thing's been in there. IF you never noticed a decline in activity I wonder if it's possible that things been in there for years? Crazy thought.......
Would love to see a pup make it's way back here......
