I have had to be careful feeding her lately... Her normal feed plan was to accept food and eat it...now she has just about been knocking me down to get food. She is so powerful I have to be careful of how I approach her so I don't get my hand knocked into another ray.

Wow - that's amazing! Just read the thread today. I'm thinking that she somehow sucked the barb up while feeding. I've wondered if that happened if they ray would be able to break it down or disolve the stinger like a hook. It looks like they can't. Glad to see it all worked out.
