Welcome to MonsterFishKeepers.com

The members of this forum have come together to share our knowledge and experiences of fish keeping. We want to answer your questions, offer advice and fill the galleries with pictures of the fish we have all grown to love.

We are a unique community of Fish Keepers who seriously take our hobby to extremes and the NEXT level. The majority of our fish collections include RARE & EXOTIC Species of all sizes, BIG FISH with BIG APPETITES and BIG TANKS. It's not easy for most people or other "regular" fish keepers to understand why we maintain this type of collection and spare no expense on this fascinating hobby.

Hopefully, through this site and discussion forums we can encourage the next generation of Monster Fish Keepers to have the same passion and love we have for the hobby and our Monster Fish .

That's the best looking plywood tank I've ever seen, nice. I love how big the viewing window is.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've seen some pretty impressive ones on here (better than mine). It was my first one, I think the next one will be even better. The viewing window is 96"x36" but i had to buy the whole sheet, 96"x48" so I'm missing a foot, I wish I would have utilized the whole sheet.... Next time!

IMG_1084.JPG IMG_1085.JPG Sorry it's been a while. Fish are doing great. Upgraded the two 5 gal. bucket filters to a 50g tote. Next will be to upgrade the sand filter to something clear. Maybe a 5g water jug....
After that will be working on a anaerobic filter...

Had to get rid of the nippy banded leporinus

      Watercow passed away as well.

TSN ate 3 Jack Dempseys, female jag, and tried to take on my bluegill killing him as well.

IMG_0555.JPG The red bay snook has such a cool mouth. Glad I caught this pic.
IMG_0557.JPG The bass has a big mouth too!

TSN taking down the male Jack Dempsey / the clown knife was yawning!
IMG_0760.JPG Short Nose Gar and Ornate Bichir hanging out
IMG_0848.JPG Moe Larry and Curly. Don't mind the paper towels, it was when I was having splashing issues from some of the beasts in here.

Haven't had a reason to move it yet ... I guess it was more just for the piece of mind, that I could if I needed to.
