it happens... they really dont like ich... or ich treatments... i had 50 or so at one time... i now have 13...

that is so sad chester i think jim was talking about you when he told me his buddy that lives a block a way or so had a sheet load of clown loaches and most of them died because of the ick, that is so sad! I want to get more but just scared that this will happen again

thats a shame.. yes they are sensitive...so you must use the right amount of salt per gallon and also the right salt..

...and you still might lose them:irked:. I made my wife hold me to never getting clown loaches again after a few bad experiences a couple years ago. However, I'm currently in the market for some more...A glutton for punishment I guess.:wall:

there hard not to stay away from there so fun to watch!!!!! but little devils to treat when there sick and plus they get sick so easily... there like babys

I learned my lesson after I bought some nice large clowns from a nice fish store during their big sale.

They all had ich and introduced it to the rest of my loaches, more than half died.

Sorry dude, they are very sensitive fish, i lost 7 of mine all at one go. Pitty though all the big ones died after that i never touched another clown loach again.
