Has anyone else ever regretted not taking a catch home to keep? I'll start it off. A few years back i was visiting my Grandparents, and my Grandpa decided to take us fishing at a nearby pond/lake. After 30 or so minutes, my little brother hauls in a monster-sized Black Bullhead on his little "Cars" fishing pole. This thing must of been 18" and around 3-4lbs. My Grandpa had a pond then with koi, but we decided to release it :(. It must of been the largest thing in that body of water.

Once I was fishing the Perdenales river in Johnson City, Texas. I caught a HUGE green sunfish, it was at least 3.5-4 lbs. I didn't know it was an oddity. Tossed it back.

I can't imagine how big it must of been!:WHOA:

I would have loved to have this guy in my tank...awesome coloring! The place was c&r and I didn't have a tank for it even if I could have kept it...

one night in Fish Lake, IN. where we stay every year when we go back, i was up one night walking the piers/shore and walked out on a pier and looked down to see a 23" gar, i netted him with two nets, i don't know what kind it was, but he was red, solid red with the black spots. kept him for two days in a chicken wire live well hanging off the pier feeding him sunfish, contemplating kleeping him, but i eventually released him. i wasn't very happy, but i needed to.

2 5" rainbow trout on a camping trip and on the 1st night, i figured i would catch more for the rest of the week but of course i never did see anymore.

probably the 200pound large mouth i caught last year but i had to let it go because it was about to tip over my boat, and i had my camera but unfortunately i forgot to take a pic.......................joking but seriously i did catch a colorless LMB out of a private pond i kind of wish i kept

Some Ozark Bass on the James River in Mo. (Really beautifull fish that can change color) but I didnt have a big enough aquarium for; a Stonecat in a creek off Tablerock lake (about 10 inches long).
