NOW THAT I GOT THAT OUTA MY SYSTEM i hav a Q,
if i breed my JB con to my big male regaler con what will the outcome be??

try it and find out. you're likely going to get some regulars, some jellybeans, and most somewhere in the middle.

don't you have a pair of JB cons? Why tear apart a pair and try to form a pair between a larger male convict and a smaller female jb convict. You might end up with a dead JB.

Assuming the short body gene is recessive and your male has both normal you are going to get nothing but normal phenotype.

I crossed a pink and black (10 years ago, before I knew cons were prolific breeders, before I even knew you could breed anything but guppies in home aquaria). got all barred, with varying colors of bars and backgrounds. back grounds ranged from whitish to pinkish-purplish, to deep blue grey. bars ranged from light charcoal grey to jet black. females (that I kept, anyway) have yellow, blue, red, and pink in their fins. Males all have blue tails and fins.

I second the motion. It does cover most if not all of the possibilities. I wouldn't be surprised if this thread reaches 20 pages tonight...LOL
