yeah i want to know too...
I really don't know. The aquarium has never received a shot or nothing. I just did a waterchane few hours ago, and it happened when I was downstair in my home basement. Obviously, their was a weak point in the glass corner

wow, sorry that happened, thats a fish keepers worse nightmare

Was the tank unlevel? That looks like maybe after long pressure on the one corner, it got too weak and gave way?

When did this happen? I was afraid to watch the videos!

No, the tank was perfectly at the level. You know, water is the best thing to verify a level, and believe me, evrything was pefect. It happened tonight (december 26th)

Dang dude, that's horrible to watch.....but it is awesome that your insurance has got you covered! Once I was trying to scrub some algae away from the glass on a 30 gal. tall and it sprung a leak on me, and I remember all the effort it took to clean it up. I feel for ya man!

I feel for you. That must really suck. For this reason my tank is in the basement where something like this would only cause limited damage.
