I fibre glassed the edge of the sleepers. Then clamped the liner to the fibre glass ledge with goldseal sealant and stainless steel strips. The window then sealed onto the rest of the fibreglass ledge.

The glass is 40mm perspex, so not to big a concern. I also heated the pond over winter last winter, so frost wasn't a problem.
