Looks great liz. Just wondering, is there anything you can feed them to bring out their colours. Does their colours change much depending on mood?

yes sometimes they look really blue..sometimes some look pale and some really blue..somtimes it is my camera.. haha.. but i feed a varied diet including some color enhancing pellet{not too much of any one thing} it could also be that my water is on the harder side..from well.. so even that could make some difference.

for instance these are pics from the other day and they looked bluer..i really think mostly it is my camera and the lighting..

true, flash washes out any colour. I notice there are some differences between locality fish too. Hard water would be a good thing though? One day i'm going to keep some frontosa. Wish they weren't in need of the opposite water parameters I keep all my fish lol.

They are a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful fish.. i am never sorry i started raising them..even if i never end up breeding.. i just love the look of the tank and the fronts colors.. and that they get big with the big hump for the males.. they are truly a good looking fish..:D
