I really like the Red Hooks too. I was at this small LFS today and they had two 4" silverdollars and four 3" black strip Silverdollars, but the black striped ones were $42 each. I thought about getting some for a little bit now (regular ones), but not sure if my big guys would let them be?? Anyway yours look really nice.

I don't think it will be any problem Jiant. They are really hardy, and grow back nipped fins extremely fast.

I definatly think you should get some, the black bar ones i've heard are the most aggressive, with the maculatus (spotted version) being the mildest, and the red hooks somewhere in the middle, so maybe you should get the black bar ones, although they are pricey.

Thanks anubis, i hope and think so too :)

I'm going out to a few LFS today, I have to trade in my 9" Bocourti as I have no where to put him with out him being picked on. Anyway, I might try a group of 5-6 Silverdollars?? Thanks for the info bro.

That's too bad about the Bocourti. Yeah 5-6 sounds perfect mate, and it's a good idea to shop around a bit, cause the price may vary a lot depending on F# and size, and so on.

Good luck
