Ophi, it is a shame you don't post more often.

I usually don't post frivolous stuff (note: "usually"). I mean, it's rare for me to comment on pics of someone's animals, mainly because if for no other reason, I'm just not impressed by most peoples' herps. I see kingsnakes, iguanas, ball pythons, beardies and leopard geckos all the time, so unless its some cool morph, its all commonplace to me. Perhaps I should be nicer and do it anyway.

When I do post, its quite simply to say something that hasn't already been said. It often comes across as me simply ponting out people's mistakes, but after several years in the petstore business, I'm tired of being polite and all this "the customer is always right" nonsense; so I just call it out I see it. (I know JD has heard this speech before;) ). Usually, if its something as common as someone asking what substrate to use for a leo, then I don't even bother looking at the thread because I know 4-5 others will immediately give out the right response.

And in reality, I actually do have one of those nice pieces of paper; it just has nothing to do with herpetology, or even in biology in general.
