yesterday i did a 5 gallon water change ( had tomove some bacteria to another tank) that along with the filter mods have made it woderful. water is very clear test results

filter mod- nothing big i just changed things up a bit. i opened the "gate" on the intake tube to draw more water to the filter, and covered both intake holes with filter pad. doubled up on the filter cartriges, and shoved some more filter pad in the outlet. the water looks wonderful but what i really like is the fact that the pads in the outlet back the water up just enough to keep those bio wheels moving really good, and also slows the water down so i dont get that loud waterfall noise its more of a trickle. i think im going to post more pics.
