Yeah they do nip the disk will this heal up? id hate to get rid of the rays but if i had to i would id hate for any harm to come to them they are just wicked.

The tank is 7 x 2 x 2 210Gallon

Im running an all pond solutions filter which pushed 2000 litres per hour a tetratec 1200 and my sump pushes 6000 lph im on the lookout for a FX5 though to replace the sump as it makes too much noise as its in my bedroom
