I would add a plant (fake or real) or a piece of drift wood in the middle of the tank to reduce the attack of the ray. This seams to work well (IMO and IME). As for healing, yes it will heal. Depending on how bad the "nips" are of course.

Looking awesome Ash. I'd definitely go for a fluval fx5 on there. Let me know if you ever want to sell an orino.

Cheers Tim im looking at getting one this weekend just waiting to hear back off the kid he has 3 so should be good to go, yeah il let you know likewise if you want rid of the kelberi or the pinima

Was scouting through some old ads on aquarist today and saw that dangerous dan with an ad for 2 pinima they looked wicked

I honestly don't think I'll ever sell either of those cichla but you could possibly tempt me to trade the kel for a nice green orino if it's big enough. I'm actually tempted to grow out some more seeing how nice they turned out.
