I wasn't sure if I should post this here but Kal Drogo fans can watch Jason Mamoa,the actor who played him,squaring off against Sly Stallone in Bullet to the Head.
I called directv today to for other things and at the end of the phone call the lady was like, we have a special offer right now to get one of our premium channels (hbo, starz, showtime, cinimax) free for 3 months. and that people usually get hbo because this time of year is when a popular tv series comes on
I new right away she was referring to GoT. she said I can get it for 3 months, free

It's perfect, then you have the option to cancel after the series ends before the prices jump up
yea exactly. she told me july 1st is when I will start getting charged for it. so I just gotta cancel by the day before
it totally made my day and I thanked her profusely. it was the best customer service experience I've ever had with directv. or any other cable company I've dealt with for that matter.
and I get to record a bunch of other things for my kids that may end up showing from now until I cancel
for all the previous seasons I was streaming it. I had to wait a few hours or so after it aired for it to be available for stream. not this season!!

For me HBO is worth $17 a month. But getting it for free for a few months does not suck in the least bit.
I've been watching the reruns they've been playing to refresh on some things and get me back into the show
i'm reminded why I enjoy the show. the red wedding, joffrey's wedding, tyrion's trial.....all awesome episodes.
I especially love the subtle, passive-aggressive dialogue between the characters in the episode of joffrey's wedding, particularly between cercei and the viper, and cercei and brienne.
