A Game Of Thrones

Before watching last night's episode if u haven't already, adjust the brightness and color on your tv. Make it brighter, thank me later

Spoilers below***

So the episode was dark.......not dark as in, evil or depressing or things like that. Dark, as in the whole episode was filmed with little lighting. U couldn't tell what was going on a lot of times and who was fighting who. I watched it twice. The second time I adjusted the lighting and color on my TV and it was much better.

Aside from that, I was a little disappointed. Did the first fight scene just completely annihilate the dothraki horde in a matter of seconds?? That kinda bothered me. Best fighters in open field combat is destroyed in few seconds, while samwell tarly survives the war.

I also would've liked to see more fighting between the living dragons and zombie dragon. And GoT was never great at showing 2 armies battling. They're great at showing 2 or a few people fighting but armies fighting was never their strong suit.

But it had some good moments. Some good deaths. Whole season feels rushed of course since the season is so short. Unfortunately we get less dialogue (main reason I love GoT is for the great dialogue) and scenes jump back n forth quickly because they gotta cover a lot of stuff in a shorter amount of time. I figured half the season is focused on fighting white walkers and other half fighting Cersei

I gave my opinion on the movies thread but I completely agree. I spent the first 20 mins trying to figure out what was wrong with my TV only to find out it was dark for everyone haha. I was disappointed as well, so rushed and plot lines are collapsing. I did like the scene with Tyrion and Sansa.

I was blaming it on my cheapo Walmart tv!

Really??? You guys wasted your time on a show you couldn't even see???
LOL!...it wasn't like it was total blackness, just a little difficult with some scenes.

I hate it when tv shows do this. My tv has a problem with bright colors(they always blur). So, I have to keep it darker then normal. Of course shows that do this junk, may as well be a full audio show for me.

Ya my tv was almost pixelated at times (blurry) because it was so dark and snowing. What did you think of the episode K krichardson

Mine had that effect as well.
I enjoyed it except for one little part that kind of bothered me which was the Night King pretty much scoffing at dragon fire yet succumbing to a mere dagger to the gut....or was that some sort of special metal.

Im assuming people wont read this thread if they dont want spoilers right??

The dagger is Valerian Steel, which can kill white walkers. The whole Night King death was poorly done imo.
