my guess is it's made out of special material that can kill white walkers. fat guy was lucky enough to find it in an old battlefield buried in snow
i'm starting the show again from the beginning. just finished the second ep of season 1. knowing what i know now, everything makes so much more sense and i'm catching a lot of detail i missed the first time. i'm gonna watch the whole thing again

yea, it's so much more interesting the first time around
I just finished ep 5. I didn't realize the first time around that the guy at the jousting tournament (the mountain) was the hound's brother. and also I caught the details of the previous Hand's murder. it was a previous squire turned knight who was paid to poison the hand by the lanisters (I presume) and he was set up to joust against the mountain. apparently they drew straws to see who goes up against who in the joust and the murderer was "forced" into a duel with the mountain like you "force" a card to someone in a card trick.
please correct me if i'm wrong ^
and it was a touching moment during the scene where Robert and cerci were talking and she asks about ned's sister. kind of felt sad for her when she asked him if there was ever a moment where they had a chance. and he said "no."
That's what I don't understand about the few who are waiting to read it. If you're not going to read it cool but if you are, might as well enrich your show watching experience
Because a show can't fit the whole book into a 10 series season. Knowing a bunch of stuff that isn't in it would annoy the bloody hell out of me and make me dislike the show. Waiting means I can enjoy the show and then add to it later when I read the book, instead of focusing on what's not there.
I know....no matter how many time he explains it I still wont get it. Lol Being that its a show, almost everything is there as opposed to a 2-3 hour movie.
I also don't get why wait 2 more years for the show to conclude instead of reading up to this point
Ocd is ocd though and I respect that.
