I also read books at a fearsome rate, so I wait until the book series is finished. I've read ones where I had to wait years to finish the series, drove me nuts.
And yes, it's a work around for my ocd. I'm nuts, but at least I know it.

But the difference between the two is that reading the books can help you understand everyone's place and answer your many questions along the way...not so with the Walking Dead comics.
Sumo has never struck me as the reading type ,not that I blame him with that many kids, anyways. I guess movies has ruined it for the rest.

you're right, I was never the reading type when I was younger. I've only read books before because I had to for school. I remember enjoying Where The Red Fern Grows, To Kill a Mocking Bird and Lord of the Flies books. but i wouldn't have ever read them if not for school. and I don't enjoy them enough to ever reread them. but I can always read comics because of the art and pictures

I hear that a lot. I'm a closet reader. I fly through books and will find an author I like and read everything they've written before moving on to the next. Since getting involved with the current gf and her kid I've had alot less time to read. Prob why I'm so slow on Spartacus and can't find time for walking dead comic.
