Thank you, they do make a very handsome couple. The eggs just hatched and there is a sea of wrigglers. Unfortunately they moved the fry into the middle of the tank and i cant get a picture to show the mass of fry. In a few days when the fry are big enough i'll move them to a seperate tank and take tons of pics. It's too funny to see the pair protecting theyre little bundle on one side of the tank and all the rest of the fish on the other. How theyre getting along all piled up on each other like that is beyond me considering they range from the smallest 6" A. sp.Red Isletes to a 14" red oscar.
Congrats, very nice male. Not to be a downer but the female has an intresting facial structure, frontal build, and coloration. Where did you get them? Congrats again on the spawn.
Great looking fish. They came from my wild pair. I can honestly say that my female has never turned that color during breeding. But if you got them from Jeff...he got them from me.
