i also think i have seen the large ST pics before

the pics are ST that look they have just been pulled from a tank as you can see the glass bracing bar

why not show some new pics

1. of the baby ST in your tank
2. the ST being caught in the river not someones tank

to many holes in this claim of finding new ST

Please send the link that you see. These picture were captured last month by fisherman. Why do I have do this? Please think carefully before you post.

Don't take it to heart. People are skeptical of claims regarding several aspects of Dats in general.
ITs being bred in captivity is a common rumor, especially in Asia. I followed it up and only got roumors, no solid evidence. People where asking for photos. I didn't understand why but i do now.
STs being caught in the wild. Numbers are so low in most rivers it nearly impossible to find them. They are gone in Thailand asnd have been for 6 or more years. There have been no small STs anywhere for sale for 6 or more years, so people are skeptical.

One poster from Sumatra told a story of millions being harvested this year, and the middle men unable to sell them. there's a very good change the high grade 3 bar indos will have been separated and are being sold as STs. Here in Bangkok, 3 bar indos are being sold for 4 times the price as normal ITs and are being called STs. It's only when you question the validity the vendors admit they're indo.
I presume the knowledgeable posters want to see it in your tank so they can get a better look at it to determine 3 bar IT or ST.
Don't get upset, people want it to be ST, but they want to be sure.

You are defending that you think they are ST you could clear a few things up just by posting a picture of it in your tank why have you not done this yet it makes no sense

I think he already did post pictures :D Its on page 6.

What CC says is very valid. Selling 3 bar IT as ST.... $$$$$$

Also Asia has the biggest black-market in the world. That's not me being prejudice, I'm Asian myself and I've seen the scams for all sort of products in china, indo and Malaysia and Thailand.

Sbuse, the pics on page 6 are high grade 3 bar IT. If I saw the first fish in pic in one of the links in his tank...then that is a ST.

Maybe we can only be really sure once the fish is a bit bigger. Vu.tt > your tigers all look really good...

bro very nice baby ST.

its not ST

all i know is when i was buying small ST i used to come across lots with forked bars it was also very hard to find a ST with a full neck band

the pictures of the tigers for sale are not even CT which is were they are meant to be fished

also the colour is not right as you can see from the pics on page 6 with it next to a IT its the same colour a ST should be much more yellow please don't say its because its small because thats not true it should be yellow at any size

ok

im going to approch this different

they look like ST but i THINK they are IT

if they do turn out to be ST thats great for the buyers but bad for the wild population as if the large ST posted were taken from the river thats not a good thing

only time will tell
