Hello; An idea from past decades that did not catch on. We called it ZPG (Zero population Growth). The idea being that if we each only replace our self then the population will stabilize. Two people have only two biological children during their lives. Was not popular 40 to 50 years ago.Prince Harry Says He And Meghan Markle Will Only Have Two Kids Because Of Climate Change.
Still a viable plan in a sense but some too late to keep the total population at a manageable levels.

Thats an interesting concept. I would think it would be hard to get global acceptance. Labor force or lack of labor force might be a big determining factor.

Hello; Your are correct it never caught on. Evidence being the human population did continue to explode and still is growing rapidly. There are confusing tactics used. For example in the last few days I saw a report about how the reproductive rate has declined in the USA lately. Even if true this does not automatically translate to a smaller population.

In the loop for what ? Are you following certian members threads more closely than others ? Anticipating something ?
Well it is the job description, when a thread is reported, we keep a look out, but you are trying to create issues.
