Those tatf look flawless compared to the gatf. You think they teamed up on him or took turns pounding him or is it only one of them? Was it over night that this happened? Poor gatf can barely swim; hopefully he pulls through and thx for the vid!
Very nice Al. The TATF seem to still be doing well together so far. Now, when are we going to see some pups from those Falks?
How are the Armies doing in the 750 and man they messed up that Goliath!
Pups from the Falks? Hopefully soon.... Males been in there for a while and I'm trying to get several meals a day in there. Going to give them the eels 375 gallon soon. The Tigers seem bitter about the short tank, and the Falks have always hated it (only 20" tall).
Armies don't seem to be quite as tolerant of each other as the Tigers. Honestly been thinking about selling a few of the Armies, keeping one in the blackie tank and giving the 750 to the Tigers. Just don't know if they'd work with the Wolves as well as the Armies. Been really enjoying the ATF lately. The Tanzys seem tolerant of each other, tank mates, and seem to do well with being aware of their surroundings. Just wish they'd quit nipping off each others streamers. Seeing a Tatf with full streamers is quite the sight.
I think the tail was from the last time he was in the 750 then from using it like a pogo stick while bobbing up and down the front of the glass. Either way it was there prior to the Tiger landing in there.
The Tiger hated the first few weeks, but like you said, he seems content in there now. Still not sure what I'm going to do as while he seems content I am not - really think such a fish deserves much better.
Almost wondering if I was to take a 300 gallon tank - add a half dozen active wolves then drop the Tigers in if they wouldn't tend to get along better with each other since they would be the minority? It's either that or drop them in the 750 but I fear there would be a war with the Armatus. Curious what you guys would do?
You would know better than I about mixing with wolves. I've had my own recent struggles with my tiger not playing nice but mine is much more of a community style tank. Oddly my large yellow fin chalceus and the Vatf are now buddying up. We'll see how long that lasts
