A personable cichlid for my 75 gallon tank.

Anyone have any experience with chocolates, nicaruguas, or black belts. Obviously not considering all but maybe just one of those with the severum possibly.

Also I am not sure the growth rate of all of these but how long would each of these fish last with all the others before they got to aggressive and or started eating the danios. Almost definitely getting an at least 150 in my basement in 1.5-2 years.
so how long would each of these last: jack Dempsey, green terror, jaguar/managuense?

You'd need to upgrade. Blackbelt are aggressive. My female will be eventually be all alone in 90 she's already showing signs of wanting it to herself. Nice are peaceful but you'd ideally need a bigger tank same for chocolate

I always assumed Firemouth to be shy. But at the Silver Spring APA convention a couple years ago, I saw a glass banging Firemouth.

I kept many Green Terror, and they are one of the more peaceful cichlid. They show conspeices aggression at sexual maturity, but usually are harmless to other fish.

Chocoloate and nicaruguas are both very peaceful. The problem I had with chocolate is that they are too timid and can easily be stressed by more aggresive tankmate. I had one that died from self starvation because he was too timid to come out to eat.

Dempseys and green terror may work with your stock if you don't have any other cichlids. Don't even consider the Managuese. Get big fast and would kill everything.

Edit: the jd and green terror would eat the danios very soon

Is there any cichlid that is in the 5-7 inch range that gets at least a noticeable Nuchal hump? I'm pretty sure T-bars get them but not positive and if so are there any others?

Outside of the convict group none that I'm aware of, old male angelfish do
