Actually, muscle health and strength while dropping my body fat %.

I achieve both tone and build, but show no priority over either.

hmmm, here's a question for you, since you are into this kind of stuff. Behemoth, feel free to answer as well. I am heavy at the moment. My ideal weight is 210-220, and I am currently 260. Mind you, not everything if fat, but I am out of shape. I want to get to 220, but through a mixture of losing fat and gaining muscle. So I run 1 hour everyday, swim 1 hour, and do 1 hour of weights. Unfortunately, even changing my diet, I haven't seen the results i expected. What is a good workout regimen? What do you suggest?

I don't use weight. It's evil. I have been 140 lbs fat, and 140lbs slim. Scale says the same, but there is a very big difference between the two.

What's your diet like? How many meals a day? How late do you eat? What is your carb intake like after 2pm?

Very vague information, but based on above, I think you need to challenge yourself more. You run an hour everyday? Do you run at a very steady pace? I suggest incline, or sprints to incorporate. Switch it up a bit, bodies are very adaptable.. It is very possible that when running, you meet your (brain fart ugh..) whats the word.. behemoth help me out. You reach your I want to say equilibrium, but its like the balance, in which your body levels out and adapts to the speed and etc... whats the word, grrr...

I usually try and make it twice a day. I go in the morning and do my cardio, to wake myself up, stretch out in either the sauna or the hot tub, and go back in the evening for my muscle group.

I should add, I eat most of my carbs in the morning, I have huge breakfasts, and keep my protein up after working out. If you are stepping up your regimen a bit, I suggest throwing in an avacado. They are very high in potassium, (60% more than bananas per ounce!) and have no cholesterol. They are very good for muscle cramps, due to lack of potassium (actually quite common).

I run at a 4.2% incline. Actually, I can't run the entire hour, so I alternate between 5 minutes walking 4.6 mph, and running between 5.8 and 7.2 mph.

For breakfast i have 1 cup milk, chocolate powder, artificial sweetner, 2 slices toast and margarine, and normally a banana or orange. Lunch I usually eat at school, so usually a 12" club sub at subways. Dinner I eat late, around 9 or 10, and usually have a plate of rice and beans, lettuce, 3 small baked chicken fillets, and...that's it. For snacks I eat an orange or have a glass of milk (just milk)
